Die Hofheimer Wohnungsbau GmbH ist ein kommunales Wohnungsunternehmen und besteht seit 1926. Wir sind eine 100%-ige Tochter der Stadt Hofheim.

Mit unseren Dienstleistungen rund um das Gut Wohnen bieten wir unseren Kunden kompetente Hilfestellung auf alle Fragen in diesem Zusammenhang. Aufbauend auf die Seriosität des Hauses ist unser Handeln – insbesondere im Bereich des Bauens und Wohnens – zukunftsorientiert ausgerichtet.

Wir schaffen sozial verantwortlich Wohn- und Lebensräume für alle Bedürfnisse des Lebens und breite Schichten der Bevölkerung

Wir leisten dies vor allem durch:

Welcome to Hofheimer Wohnungsbau GmbH 

Hofheimer Wohnungsbau GmbH (HWB) is a municipal housing company, it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of its municipality, Hofheim am Taunus. Overall HWB manages around 1655 homes. 42 % of its housing stock is publicly subsidized housing, 58 % is private housing.

Key activities of HWB are

• urban planning and development, e. g. current development of a public library
• construction and maintenance of commercial real estate
• construction, maintenance and modernization of rented apartments
• The core purpose of HWB is to provide affordable homes for a wide range of people. A special focus is laid on households who are not able to secure themselves with an adequate accommodation due to low income, homelessness, unemployment, disabilities or other special needs.

HWB faces diverse social and economic challenges such as for example accelerated growth of population, rise in construction costs, increase in refugee numbers and climate change.

As a municipal housing company we act forward-looking and social responsibly. HWB aims to implement and maintain stable neighborhoods and communities, therefore we place significant importance on the support of our tenants by social management. Furthermore, we engage in climate protection by building energy-efficient homes, making homes more energy-efficient by modernization and using modern approaches to create and provide our tenants with renewable energy.
